Irrational

So in the absence of a pet peeve, I've considered that I may be able to develop a phobia.

I'm thinking that it wouldn't be too tough to develop a fear of elevators. All it would take is really taking seriously the instructions written for fire fighters on the elevator wall.

What if that stuff really happened?

I can feel my heart in my throat already.

Blogging is a form of therapy. Best to let your peeves go and even better not to develop a phobia. In other words, don't think (or read) too much!

But wouldn't a elevatorphobia be so much fun? Just imagine the stories people would go home with after being in the elevator with me?

Good idea! Our secretary at work sure gets out of a lot of work being afraid of elevators. "Oh. NO. I never go in elevators. Someone else will have to go and get the IV poles, although I'm the only one who is not busy right now. I'll just sit here and shuffle these blank note cards."

Hey, that's cool that you have a blog too...how's life? I personally think I would rather have peeves than phobias...

I get on a bridge and plan my escape route if there is a earthquake.
I also take medication for anxiety so... you may not want to listen to me.

You can borrow my phobia of driving on the freeway. Look around at all the people that have YOUR life (and the life of your loved ones) in their hands!...then see whats in their hands... a wheel IF WE're LUCKY...a book?..a sandwich?, A drink, A cell phone. IS SHE REALLY TEXTING? What is he picking up in the back seat...and how is he driving at the same time?

Way more scary then an elevator!
